Menopause from an Eastern Medicine Perspective with Tania Grassenschi

In this episode I talk with Tania Grassenschi, Chinese Medicine practitioner, women's health expert and founder of her business, Oriental Wisdom.
Tania has recently relocated her clinic from Sydney to the Blue Mountains. She also has a lecturing role at Endeavour Natural Therapies College.
Tania had an interesting pathway into Chinese Medicine, which we discuss in our conversation over a cup of tea! She started practising in 2004. Tania has a special interest in women's health and in recent years has focussed on menopause, which she describes as "a woman's time of wisdom".

Keeping strong muscles with Angela Mills

Angela Mills and I discuss exercise, fitness and the importance of maintaining muscle as we age! Oops I am not supposed to say the 'e' word. Angela left behind a corporate career to refocus and indulge her passion for fitness, helping others incorporate it into their lives. Consequently, Angela has helped a large number of people throughout the greater Blue Mountains over this time, either through her fun classes or through bespoke one-on-one programs that address their specific needs. Highly critical of the ‘one size fits all’ approach that the fitness industry tends to promote, one of Angela’s greatest passions is in tailoring fitness to people where they are at, empowering women and helping them find joy in simply moving.
